About the Author: Meghan Quinn

I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn t take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch It wasn t until I received a Kindle for Christmas one year that my world completely flipped upside down When looking for books I came across the Contemporary Romance genre and was sold and I haven t turned back since You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation I currently reside in beautiful Colorado Springs where the sun is always shining and there is a trail waiting to be hiked on every corner I share a lovely and warm home with the love of my life and my five, four legged children.

An incredible emotional story and one of my favorites by Meghan Quinn The heartache of both Harper and Rogan kept me on the edge of tears for the first part of the story Then I was cheering for them I loved how Quinn did the flashback chapters, slowly revealing the shocker of what actually drove them apart I am so in love with this town and the people in it

This didn t work for me.The banter between the brothers is good even funny at times. The curse situation, maybe it s just me but I didn t get it, they are letting it rule their lives It was a bit ridiculous Dual POV.Flashback alternative chapters. No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine. No cheating. No other woman man drama except an experience related from the past. The Hero broke up with the heroine, there is a lot involved but basically although they were engaged he completely cuts her off.The situation is extreme but he is very cruel. When they meet back up he is continually cruel to her, rude in front of others until around 50% of the book.He makes it clear he doesn t want her back in town, publicly, and even when she begs him to stop, crying he still carries on.He says it s because he loves her but they can t be together but I found him very dislikeable. The heroine says Don t make this harder than it already is I know this must be fun for you, acting like we re great friends, but this hurts for me So let s just be cordial and get through these next few weeks, okay When I read the blurb I thought the book would be about getting her back but it s pushing away then trying to get her back after around 55% mark, it wasn t soon enough for me.I found some of the banter between the Hero and heroine childish later on.There are references to the couple in book 1 and other characters are developed for future books HEA If you trust him I really didn t like it.ARC.

I loved this book I really enjoyed Griffin s book, but I didn t love it, per se However, Rogan s book was amazing It was so full of heart break, love, and realistic second chances I was really happy that it took a little while for either of them to completely acknowledge that they still loved each other I really feel like it was beneficial to the story line Harper is one of my favorite heroines that Meghan Quinn has ever written I really liked how she knew her worth and she wasn t going to just give in to Rogan She was very focused on getting herself back in order before she even acknowledged what she was feeling I also liked that she didn t turn all gooey every time he walked into the room Her hurt didn t just go away after all these years because of a steamy glance from Rogan I also really liked Rogan because he was very quick to admit his faults and wrongdoings He was pretty terrible to her and instead of making excuses he tried to show her how much he had changed It was really fantastic to see a H who recognized what an amazing person the h is and how she deserved to be treated I knocked a star off because I wasn t wild about the frequency of the flashbacks I would say it was every couple of chapters and, while I acknowledge some of their value, some of them weren t needed and it could have been spaced out Going back and forth tends to take me out of the story I was enjoying and then it takes me a minute to get back into it when it goes back to the present It almost felt like reading two books in one, at times That being said, I loved the past chapters separately and would totally read that book, so my issue isn t with the content itself it s about the frequency in which it happened Overall, I absolutely recommend this book I m desperately hoping Brig is next because I cannot wait to see what shenanigans that happy go lucky fella is going to get up to Meghan Quinn, you ve done it again ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

I was eager to go back to Port Snow and visit the Knightly clan in That Forever Girl Rogan and Harper s second chance romance tugged at my heart I absolutely enjoy this sweet, funny, yet at some point emotional story It gave me all the feels and I was completely captivated It was gratifying to take part in the couple s journey traveling to the past to see them transition from friends to lovers and at the same time seeing them move from enemies to lovers again in the present.I loved that we were brought back to the past to the highlights of the couple s relationship milestones These flashbacks were significant as they not only slowly unravel the mystery of their breakup but also proved that Rogan was not the complete jerk that he appeared to be He remembered and communicated his love for Harper in his own unique way Totally swoon worthy Another favorite was the closeness of the Knightly clan The siblings text exchanges and in person interactions ranged from hilarious to motivating which illustrated the abundant love and support between the siblings The meddling of their parents were annoying yet timely because parents know best.In my opinion, I feel that Meghan has grown substantially as an author throughout the years Her writing flows effortlessly and her stories are always accompanied by well developed characters and a well defined plot embedded with humor and heart I absolutely enjoyed the story and would highly recommend this funny and heartwarming small town second chance romance.I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Follow Me Maggie s Escape Book Blog Facebook Twitter Goodreads

4.5 STARSI was lucky enough to read the first book in this series featuring Griffin and his brothers, and adored it So, I have been waiting the arrival of each of the siblings book, and the wait was worth it I adored Rogan s story It was not an easy going book, but there was some lightness to it, that had me laughing My favorite thing about this series is the family aspect I love love love how family oriented it is, it makes for great banter, and an even greater amount of meddling But my favorite thing about That Forever Girl you ask Mixing the old with the new Two stories in one This author did an amazing job between the past and present She gave enough information to make things make sense, and not too much to where the story lagged It genuinely flowed at the perfect pace These characters made great strides in characters growth as one day bleed into the other The chemistry was not just focused around the hot and steamy times, which made if a fulfilling read Overall, this was an outstanding read.Rogan, unique and different name that I love It fits him is not as carefree as he used to be Circumstances changed him, and now he is getting used to the new normal He isn t the nicest of the siblings, but given what he has been through, makes it understandable Deep down, he has a heart with so much love to give He is so dang romantic.Harper is not where she thought she would be at this point in her life She longs for the feeling of home, no matter what that might be Her heart has been through the ringer one too many times, so she just wants to be She comes off as quiet, but she has a backbone that can make a grown man weep. When life brings Harper back to her hometown, can Rogan prove to her that this time is different I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK REVIEWED FOR REVIEWS FROM THE HEART Ashley
